TUI Marella Explorer 2. Worst cruise we have ever been on!

Review for a Italy Cruise on Mein Schiff

Our cruise was with TUI, Marella Explorer 2. We sailed out of Naples 2nd May 2019. We have cruised 14 times before with many different companies and ships however, we feel that Tui Marella Explorer 2 is the worst ship and cruise that we have ever been on. We have cruised with Thomson 3 times and have always enjoyed the ships, food, very friendly staff and happy atmosphere on board. We feel ...

Don't Bother with MSC

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

We had previously cruised with Royal Caribbean for a 10-day trip of the Greek islands and mainland 5 years ago. While the MSC Poesia ship itself was comparable in design, size and amenities, the major disappointment was the quality and quantity of food and restaurants. The portion sizes were too small (and I am a trained chef) and the overall quality and composition of each dish was far from the ...

This was my 25th cruise. My third with Celebrity. The ship was in good condition. We found are ocean view cabin to be very clean, with ample closet space and plenty of light and mirrors. The crew was extremely friendly. We were constantly greeted by staff. The officers were also quite visible through out the cruise. We had "select dining" and never had to wait for a table. The Waite staff was ...

My wife and I are in our 50s and have been cruising now for a while with an increased emphasis in the past couple years. We have cruised Celebrity before on Connie as well as Princess, RCI, and Carnival. This was our longest cruise by far as our previous long cruise was a 10 day Caribbean. It was our first transatlantic and our first foray into Mediterranean cruising as well. We flew into Rome 3 ...

Incredible Adventure - 22 days with 18 ports in Mediterranean

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Noordam

Holland America enabled us to enjoy a first class, once-in-a-lifetime adventure for my daughter (graduating High School) and the total cost was less than one might expect to spend for a week in Europe. The service was excellent throughout the ship with delicious food, tasteful decor, great entertainment and a fun teen club for my daughter (17). With so many exciting ports to explore (18 ports in ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Serena

I have just returned yesterday 18th November 2013 from a very disappointing seven night cruise on the Costa Serena. We were picked up from our hotel at 1100 and taken to Civitavecchia to board the ship. When we got there we were herded into a large shed and found out ship couldn't dock and had gone to Naples. No Costa staff told us anything, a woman got on our bus spoke only in Italian which ...
