1-10 of 14 MSC Poesia Cruise Reviews for for the Disabled to Europe - British Isles & Western
If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...
We are currently on this terrible cruise
Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us.
1. So many sea days
Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees.
As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...
We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...
We sailed on MSC Seaside in Feb of 2020 and it was a great experience so we were looking forward to our Cruise booked on Poesia. We chose this one as it had a very nice itinerary. The ship was beautiful and well taken care of.
The potential is really there but it seems as if MSC does not care. I am sure I am not the first person to list the shortcomings on their survey as they were apparent ...
1. Before my cruise on MSC Poesia, a looked-for Wi-Fi price list but didn't find it. So, i photographed it on the ship for future passengers. You can find it at the end of my review.
2. In general the cruise was very pleasant and interesting because the itinerary that included Greenland. The functioning of the ship was wonderful, without any problems. The food was very good in the buffet Lido ...
This was our first cruise/holiday in the post covid world. The experience with MSC was so bad and disappointing in every way that it has put us off ever doing another cruise with any cruise line.
It seem that MSC’s bean counters have worked out how to strip as much expense out of their cruises - from the ports, food, entertainment and facilities offered on board. I have given the following ...
While the ship offered a wonderful itinerary overall the cruise itself was just ok. 14 days out of Barcelona hitting 10 counties was a wonderful draw for us. Boarding was seamless and quick and we basically were able to walk right on and directly to our room. Food was just ok, nothing to rave about but you didn't go hungry. Entertainment was below average, I have seen better at a high school ...
Being first time cruisers (this being a "trial run" before doing a TA with Cunard), we had read up on reviews and info re MSC and the Poesia somewhat beforehand.
The Western Mediterranean intinerary suited us well, as we had never before been to Portugal.
Having 11 days in port out of a total 14 was a very exciting prospect, too. On paper, at least.
More about this later.
The ...
We were a group of eight from Australia on a family trip to Greenland and we can recommend all facets of this cruise ship and ports visited. We had a great boarding experience in Copenhagen, greeted by a most helpful lady that had us onboard in no time with no fuss. This ship had one of the best crews that we have encountered on any cruise, they were all friendly and efficient. The Captain was ...
We chose the MSC Poesia as the Itinerary and price influenced us.
Copenhagen to Genoa in September 2019. Aurea Balcony Suite, inclusive Drinks Package,(the old one as we booked before the new drinks package took over)
We arrived at Copenhagen Terminal at 10.30am, they said we could board at 11.30am and a large Group of tourists decided to rush first, not lining up correctly, it was very ...
