Worst cruise we have been on

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Our room concierge was great and very kind. About the only thing on the cruise though. Food, I travelled with someone who was gluten intolerant. Mashed potatoes are one of the items she can eat. However those are not on the buffet for everyone as we were very rudely told she could not get those because it was on the kid buffet. I even explained it was for gluten issue and was still rudely told no. ...

Worst Experience of my life

You ever went on a vacation and LOST weight? Well, if you haven’t, if you sail with this bottom-feeding cruise line, you will. My family and I sailed on the Magnifica 12/18-12/22. It was hands down, the most boring 3.5 days of my life. What was sold to us as a 5 day 4 night cruise, when all was said and done was a 3.5 day, 4 night cruise. We couldn’t even board the ship until the afternoon of ...

Old and dirty ship with terrible service.

MSC Magnifica. Terrible experience, dirty carpets, clogged bathrooms twice a day, tiny rooms ( beware when booking balconies), they are smaller than the inmate cells, We had a balcony room 11.62 Sq. m, (125 Sq. ft), no sofa, as you can usually see in all balcony rooms, terrible service, terrible food that looks like vomit. Removed even a bottle of beer from your luggage and made you look like a ...

HORRIBLE

I would avoid booking with MSC at ALL costs. To start, the food was barely edible. Everything was either over cooked, undercooked, or bland. Everything is served room temperature even in the restaurants. Bartenders couldn’t care less about who came first and they like to ignore you. The customer service was absolutely atrocious. The vodka shooter in my room had been refilled with water. Upon ...

Avoid at all cost

It’s worse than Carnival. You book to have dinner at a certain time but when you get here they give you run around telling you to go to guest services. You get there they send you back to the dining. It was a pattern. Guest services was useless and would give us wrong information the whole time. The whole boat smelled like cigarettes smoke. It was everywhere. It’s not kid friendly. I’ve never ...

Other cruise lines that we have sailed with were not available so my travel agent suggested MSC. We researched the Magnifica and were pleased with what we read. They did a great job of describing the ship however it wasn't at all like what we read. First of all, I will say the staff is wonderful and so nice! We chose to do Atlantis as an excursion and we had a blast so highly recommend you ...

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Worst experience i’ve ever had in my entire life. My 11 month old daughter had 3 asthma attacks while onboard because our ac wouldn’t work. They just kept saying it was fine. The housekeeping made my grandfathers bunk while we were at dinner and slung his pill dispenser off the bed, spilled all the prescription pills everywhere and left them without telling anyone it happened. Nobody knew until my ...

I can only say if I could I would vote a minus. The food is appalling if you want to lose weight then book with msc even top staff asked us to write a bad review about the food the staff can’t wait to Get ashore for something to eat. No kettle in the room. Dress sense is out of the window. I met a man who had done 31 cruises and this was worst. The only saving grace was the amazing staff they are ...

MSC means Makes Cruisers Sick

Booked this cruise just a few days before the sailing as a spontaneous way of returning to the states rather than flying. We’d sailed with MSC many times but not since 2016. I don’t know where you could find such horrible poor quality food. I spotted the executive chef onboard and asked why he allows such embarrassingly bad food and his response was a little shocking. He said,”when we get to ...

We chose this cruise because of the price; the adage you get what you pay for was very true. I have been on over 50 cruises on 8 different cruise lines and found that this cruise was the bottom of the barrel.I may be jaded but the entertainment, dining experience, attitude of the suits(upper command),and all around demeanor of the crew was terrible. On a very positive note the cabin steward as ...
