Awesome itinerary for a quite reasonable price

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We did a 119 night World Cruise, don't know why the menu here in CC says its only 50 nights. MSC delivers a lot of bang for your buck, though not everything was perfect. But the itinerary and the dining were awesome, although strangely the famous Kaito-sushi restaurant was closed during the whole trip. The staff was excellent, I wish shore hotels would have staff as nice and attentive. The ...

2023 World Cruise

The internet was terrible and expensive. We had to get several visas, but few were actually needed. For example, we had to have a visa to South Korea to board the ship, but later we found that no one needed a visa to SK. MSC will not give me a refund for the unnecessary visa. We paid for a larger room that did not exist on that ship, with no refund in sight. Food was decent, but not great. Rooms ...

MSC Musica - RSG Oppiwater Cruise to Pomene

Review for a Africa Cruise on MSC Musica

My wife wanted to go on the RSG Oppiwater cruise. We travelled to Durban by bus as a first ever experience. Was a good way to travel.... no toll gates to pay, relaxing and very cost effective. The size of the ship overwhelmed us... Like a huge big mall floating on water. We suggest you go with a group of friends to maximise your experience. I would like to do the 21 day cruise to Europe. ...

Oppiwater Kunstefees

I travelled with the Oppiwater Kunstefees. The embarkation and disembarkation was very slow but allwrite. The food was good but not excellent, the cabin was very good/excellent. The shore excursion was good and interesting but not excellent. The ship is very big and it takes quite some time to accustom yourself and not get lost. The informal dining room was to crowded, to few tables. The services ...

I traveled with my 84 year old mother, as a cruise has been on her bucket list for a very long time and having been ill with cancer for 3 years and a recent stroke we decide the cruise was now or never. Unfortunately we were not aware that it was a predominately Afrikaans cruise and that the entertainment would only be in Afrikaans! Very disappointing as she was looking forward to seeing a show ...

For a brake in live, we enjoy a boat cruise, no phone or laptops no work. The boat have enough lay back entertainment lounges with live music or top deck pools and bar. Don't forget to get some cocktails!! Food for Africa and the evening dining a must. The rooms is service daily. A daily time table for info for the next day activities is delivered. We sleep with the balcony door open, how nice to ...

Our trip to Durban to embark was an adventure of colour, vibrancy and excellent sight seeing. uShaka Sea World lived up to its wonderful reputation and provided entertainment, information and an awareness of our responsibility as custodians of the earth. Embarkation procedures to get aboard the Musca went without a hitch and the staff are to be commended for logistical excellence. The ...

It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas. Cost: we paid a lot more money for this cruise so we espected more. The cabin with balcony 9080 was very small and impossible to organize clothing and shoes. Food: the food in the buffet was ...

Very good entertainment but there is room to improve other services

Embarkation and disembarkation are always tedious. if there could be a way of speeding it up. The buffet was good with a wide variety of food. the bars were overwhelmed at times and it took long to get drinks. The ship is beautiful and looks like a hotel. You don't even feel like you are travelling on water. Facilities are exquisite and a lot of different personalities are catered for. The ...

Had a fantastic cruise especially for the kids entertainment - They just simply didn't want to leave! The public areas were clean and neat and variety of things to do. The dinner service was special as well and had a great time with the themed evenings. The entertainment tam did very well indeed to keep the cruise light and fun. The behind the scenes tour was amazing and well worth an excursion ...
