We spent 7 days on the beautiful Star Breeze and were totally spoiled. The crew is very friendly, service is amazing, food is delicious and the cabins are big and beautiful. We did the Naturally Costa Rica cruise and had to take zodiacs to shore. Most were wet landings where we stepped off the zodiac into water on a sandy beach. This was our 3rd Windstar cruise - the other 2 being in Europe. We enjoy the small ship atmosphere and have been very pleased with the level of service and casual elegance of the Windstar experience. This ship was full with 144 passengers, I believe, and 99 crew.

This was our first small ship experience and we loved it. I was a little worried about not having a balcony but come to find out on a small ship it is just one flight of steps to sitting outside. The cabin had enough storage and space. The outdoor area is large with a bar and also set up in the morning for a continental breakfast. Very small pool and hot tub.

A Tahiti/French Polynesia cruise has been on my bucket list ever since Windstar initiated this itinerary. I'm a solo cruiser and particularly enjoy the Windstar cruises because of the more intimate, convivial feeling with a relatively small passenger size--about 130 in this case. Not an inexpensive trip for a single, but worth it.

This was our 1st cruise on a smaller ship. Really liked the size vs.the bigger ships. Windstar was 1st class from beginning to end. Personnel were friendly, polite,professional and fun. This was super fun! The ship is small, I think 190 or so passengers, and nearly a 1-1 ratio crew.

We took this cruise to get a chance to travel with friends and not have to deal with the crowds on the giant ships. And we did have a GREAT time with our friends!
With so few passengers and so many crew, you get a chance to get to know other travelers and you also receive EXCELLENT service!
