Review for a South America Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

We just completed two back-to-back cruises, the Chilean Fjords and Carnival in Rio, from San Antonio to Buenos Aires. We are an aged couple, in our seventies (and lots of similar cruisers on both journeys) and my wife has a mobility problem (not many similar couples on the second journey). We’re veteran cruisers and we’ve been on the Azamara Quest six times. But this was the first time on the ...

My partner and I had cruised with Cunard once before in the Med. This was a very short cruise for us (2 nights - Adelaide to Melbourne) but the purpose was to give our elderly parents (76, 77, 87 and 89) a taste of the Cunard experience. We were a party of 6. Embarkation in Adelaide was the worst I had experienced in 6 cruises on different lines. As we had booked late , we had 2 A1 Club Balcony ...

This five week journey started in Santiago Chile. This capital city has a mixture of old and modern architecture and green open spaces with the Andes in view. We stayed in the vibrant Lastarria area for two nights, the first day driving through historical and residential districts and rode the cable car to get an overall view of the city. The next day we toured the wine country traveling to ...

I have always wanted to go to Antartica, and Ponant ad for this Antartica cruise was in our Travel Paper. Price was really good. The flight from BA to ushaia was quite dreadful, coupleas were not seated together and far to much luggage allowed in cabin. The embarkation was seamless and very welcoming . The ship itself was pristine, hygiene incrediable, service form all staff inpeckiable, the ...

Another Great Azamara Adventure

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Azamara Quest

We sailed for 14 days from Sydney to Auckland. There was a lot of confusion about which port we would depart from Sydney. Was very confusing up until almost the last minute as the original plan seemed to have been the Overseas Cruise Terminal - located near Circular Quay at the Rocks. Instead we left from White Bay Cruise Terminal. (Apparently they've had alot of confusion as we later learned that ...

The cruise was amazing. These ships are superb and so smoothly do what they are designed for. Inc getting every out into the zodiacs often. The sights in Antarctica are stunning and the wildlife. Well humpbacks penguins galore and special sights like minkes up close in a zodiac. 6am rise for a pod of orcas and to top it off a blue whale in the weddell sea. The guides and the zodiac drivers did a ...

Recently back from my second Azamara voyage, both on the Quest. Overall this Sydney to Auckland cruise was excellent with some notable improvements, however there are areas which continue to disappoint. On the positive side, I found the ship to be spotless and the crew genuinely friendly. Most notable was the main restaurant, Discoveries. I was greeted with a friendly smile and often assigned ...

We were concerned about the larger Seabourn ships since we had only sailed on the smaller ones previous to this.We liked this better....never seemed crowded except for the pool deck during sail away from Sydney Harbor. The bigger ship gave more options which we enjoyed. We were 2 couples neither of which had visited Australia and New Zealand so we thought this would be a good introduction. It ...
