I went on the same cruise ship and itinerary a year ago and wrote this review. https://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=695956
I still agree with most of it. There was a change made for the better - the elevator controls have been switched to standard press buttons! I think this made a huge improvement in the wait times at the elevators.
The cast and crew on the ...
Me and my husband had the best first cruise onboard the Disney wish. From the food service to the entertainment and the wonderful crew members.
On our first day onboard we met Delzi ,a performer from the show Aladdin and little mermaid and he was the most kind and helpful with us figuring out our first experience! Not to mention how fabulous he was in the musical shows in the theatre. Such an ...
I am new to cruising so please take my review into consideration. It was something my significant other wanted as she is Gold and enjoys the Disney Cruise. Its total cost of the day makes me wonder if this is just for Disney fans, cause as someone who enjoys luxury it was a little costly. They make you drink the koolaide. They give you everything to be happy and in abundance. You get service that ...
I am an avid cruiser, this makes my 30th cruise overall and have sailed the 4 major lines with 6 on Disney Cruise line. All I can say is when we stepped on the Wish my Cousin and our adult girls were amazed a how stunning that lobby is. The crew all so welcoming. We had a Deluxe Oceanview stateroom on Deck 9. (that is the only thing I would change) We should have gotten 2 staterooms with our 20 ...
My husband is a die hard Disney fan and we have done several Disney cruises. This was the latest to add to his collection!
Embarkation was average. There's always a wait to get on Disney even if you are doing a back to back sailing. Larger cruise lines give you the "Royal" treatment and I feel that Disney can learn a few lessons there. I've been on mega ships who have gotten us on and off in ...
The Wish was my second cruise with Disney and it's worth every penny. We went with a family of 7. 7 and 2 year old. Boarding was smooth. The buffet was awesome all kinds of foods. Shrimp, pot stickers, you name it. I have a bad nut allergy they prepared all of my food. Rooms were ready early. We had joining rooms. Never met our room attendant but rooms were always clean. We had an issue with room ...
I have seen lots of negative reviews, but I disagree. I found the ship to be beautifully done, with every single Disney cast member very well trained. Perhaps they've ironed out the wrinkles since they first started.
Personally, I liked that the ship was a bit disjointed. It made it an adventure to find a new nook or bar or area. I did not find that anything seemed incredibly far away, like ...
Just got off the Disney wish from 2/13-2/17/2023. One bedroom suite Rm#12522. I am 67, wifey 64, son, 31, daughter 26 my mother, 88. It was certainly better than a four star experience, so gave it five stars. no Covid requirements now. Other than you state you’re healthy. I did not complete the check in process with photos but the people in the concierge area did it for us I guess if you’re more ...
Great Cruise. Beautiful ship and friendly staff. Had a great time. We really enjoyed the rooms as the balcony’s felt spacious with a well designed interior. The rest of the ship felt really well designed. The behind the wish tour gave insight into the designing process of the ship. We really enjoyed Castaway Cay as it provided a wonderful vacation destination. The food tasted like cruise food but ...
My wife and I were originally booked on the fourth sailing of the Disney Wish. It was a four night sailing and it was cancelled because of construction delays caused by Covid. We were given 50% off the cost of a Wish cruise if we rebooked. With that savings we decided to do a back to back sailing and we tacked a 3 night cruise on the front end. With that decision came consequences, namely ...
