An Italian Cruise Line That I Have Come to Love

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

So, I've only cruised with MSC, so maybe the reason why I love MSC is because I have nothing to compare them with. But I'm always really happy when I'm on their ships. This one...Magnifica...was the oldest MSC ship I've been on and you can tell from their other ships. The stairs don't have any sparkly crystals and there are not many hot tubs or other things to do during the day. This ship was more ...

Do not book this cruise line. Absolutely horrible. Beds were hard as a rock, I woke up multiple times a night not being able to feel my fingers was laying flat on my back. They kept canceling our excursions one was then rebranded and the price was 4 times ad much and they only offered a 15% off another excursions. Then our walking tour was horrible, couldn't hear in the ear pieces, little concern ...

Costa Serena Cruise Review: A Nightmare at Sea Our family's first cruise aboard the Costa Serena unfolded as a series of disappointments and frustrations, overshadowing any fleeting moments of satisfaction. From start to finish, the journey was marred by significant shortcomings and lapses in service, painting a grim picture of our cruise experience. The Depths of Disappointment: 1. Chaos ...

Tired ship, dirty room and poor food…and mirrors EVERYWHERE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Was recently on board for a convention as a first time cruiser. I was frankly hesitant as I’m not a big fan of crowds or lines or being trapped on a boat. So, I had a pretty low set of expectations..and unfortunately, my fears were realized. Nothing on this trip made me want to go back on a cruise with MSC or any other cruise line. Entry/Exit was simple, and that was one of the best ...

Feels rundown and dated

This ship has potential but needs more cosmetic upkeep and money put into the productions held on the ship. Shows costumes and choreography for example, were very notably outdated to the point it felt distracting from the amazing talent of the performers. Internet connection was very spotty and poor throughout the cruise especially when on the bottom decks. Definitely not worth what you are ...

I was on the cruise based on Winter’s fantastic retreat. The cruise ship, though remodeled, had pockets to reflect, but overall, it was an old, standard, confusing layout ship. The food was awful, with not much variety. I agree with previous posts; the best item was Pizza, better than most cruise lines. I can deal with mediocre food on cruises, but the service was mediocre at best. I would give ...

I’ve cruised with NCL several times in the past, most often with Celebrity so I have some recent experience to base my review. Overall, Cebebrity outperforms NCL. The cruise was good overall but a few details left us disappointed. Most foremost was the food. It just fell flat, both in the dining room and buffet. Normally we don’t choose premium dining because we are fairly satisfied with the ...

Definitely is a BUDGET CRUISE LINE

My boyfriends' first cruise, so he didn't think it was so bad. I have been on only 2 others, both Carnival, and this paled in comparison. The boat itself and interior were totally nice!!! Not the issue. Issue is paying for an upgraded drinks package on a ship with a dozen bars and only 1-2 of them open for most of the day. The beer selection is a joke. One...ONE....bar had multiple beers on ...

Please don't get me wrong, I LOVE CARNIVAL CRUISES however, this was the worst one I was ever on.. Where do I begin? This is the smallest ship in the fleet and I brought 10 people on this cruise. We had What they called a junior suite. Junior was not the word for it.. Cabin is no more than a crew cabin with a balcony view. it was tight, tiny and I would never call this a suite of any sort. ...

Bad bad experience

The following are my comments after disembarking: A group of 15 of us thought we could travel together happily, but we were extremely angry. . . . 1. The hull is a bit old and rust can be seen in many places. 2. You only have to eat 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner). There was no supper. 3. The food was basically the same for three days. The breakfast is 90% the ...
