Trishaw ride: Book a trishaw ride through the city, either on your own (many await by the port and in the historic area) or as a shore excursion. These trishaws are like cartoons come to life, wildly decorated with flashing lights, heaps of plastic flowers in rainbow hues, feathers and flags. Some trishaws are tricked-out in Hello Kitty themes while others blast Donna Summer tunes from boom boxes. Drivers don't speak much English but they smile a lot and take you everywhere worth seeing.
