We were on the Regatta from Australia to New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa x 2 and French Polynesia. My feedback is as follows: 1. Staff - very friendly and generally eager to please. However, tend to be a number who lack training, so service is variable. 2. Cabins - please don't pretend they are state rooms, it insults the passengers! We bid on an upgrade and were successful. Initially we were in a penthouse suite on Riviera deck. Room was too noisy to sleep so we requested a move. I chose this cruise because I wanted to see all of Hawaii- never been and i am in my sixties. Chose this for the fact you see so much of the Islands. We have been on this very same cruise in the past. This time the food was awful, employees were mostly sullen, and often just plain rude. LAX as a major departure/arrival airport and San Pedro as the cruise port are EXTREMELY unsuitable and inconvenient.
