I booked a tour that takes you by train to Berlin. It was a long day and not very enjoyable. A lot of tourists and not a great environment. ...

Firts thought we might pass this over, having been to northern Germany a lot, but we are glad we didn´t. It is a charming little seaside resort and has a lot to offer, a nice walk, small shops, cafés and lovely views. ...

There’s quite a lot to do here than taking a 3 hour each-way trip to Berlin. An 8€ Day ticket for the Rostock area gets you from the port in Warnemunde to a lot of interesting sites. ...

We bussed down to Berlin and saw the major sites. Because of the travel time from Warnemunde, we tried to see as much as we could but simply not enough time. Saw the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, The Monument to the Murdered Jews, Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. ...

From Warnemunde, we took a tour to see the Schwerin Fairytale Castle, which was very interesting and very beautiful. We had the best local meal of the trip at LUKAS (halibut and beet risotto) and still had time after the tour to walk around Warnemunde and find some geocaches near the ship. ...

The old old light-house is neat (you can climb to the top for 2 Euros) and the beach is always fun. Great fresh herring and smoked fish of all sorts, including eel. ...

We did not avail of the NCL shore excursion. We just got off the ship and walked a couple minutes to the train station. You don’t even have to buy the ticket from the machine as what everybody tried to do that caused a long wait. We just used the app, trainline and bought the ticket which was very convenient and fast. The ticket only cost $60 each with a return. As soon as we had confirmation, we ...

Exceptional things to do around the port. Very easy to walk around, eat, sight see and shop. No need to take a 2+ hour train ride to Berlin. Do that on another trip. ...
