Review for a Alaska Cruise on Silver Whisper

This cruise ship was not worth the money. They also could care less about cancelled flights and transportation which is included in your package. Horrible customer service. Food was average. Boat was small. Butler tired. Excursions ok at best. Only excursion I enjoyed was the one i booked myself. They sale you with all these add one but don’t deliver. Cruise was actually boring. Minimal activity. ...

Worst cruise ever, and that is BEFORE I contracted COVID 19 during the cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Viking Orion

My wife and I in 2018 had a "best vacation ever" experience on the Viking Star and were eager to have an enjoyable experience on Viking Orion. After eating my home cooking for nearly three years during the pandemic, both my wife and I were particularly excited to look forward to eating the wide array of fancier and well-prepared dishes that we enjoyed during our time on the Viking Star. We were ...

Boring and awful food

My husband and I went on this Alaska Cruise and were so excited about it. It did the basics as far as transporting us from one city to the next to see Alaska best but thats about all it did. We enjoyed Alaska and the towns we stopped at, but the cruise itself was less than average. This cruise isn't for people that like lively environments. 90%% of the passengers were over the age of 60 years old ...

What’s happened to Regent?..

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

We have previously had two excellent cruises on Regent Voyager and have recommended the line to friends. We chose this cruise in Alaska which included the Rocky Mountaineer train. A similar cruise with Silversea departed on similar dates, we now wish we’d chosen that one…. The Rocky Mountaineer element was excellent, made more so by the two charming and hyper-efficient ladies from Regents UK ...

Viking quality and service seems to have taken a downturn.

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Viking Orion

We had postponed our dream Alaskan cruise due to covid, and were finally able to take it in 2022. We had a truly wonderful experience on Viking's Mediterranean Odyssey in 2019, so we were confident of the quality and excellent service built in to all of the cruises by Viking, we thought. However, from the very beginning, to the end where I came home with covid, we were so disappointed. We ...

SEWAGE on Regent Seven Seas Mariner Do NOT CHOOSE Regent Seven Seas… 1 star rating for the Regent Seven Seas Mariner and agent who booked it for the following reasons: I wanted to give you true feedback on my recent cruise that began on Sept 7 2022 from Vancouver Alaska Inside Passage. I asked for a total refund for the upgrade to DECK 8. $5,600. 1. SEWAGE on my DECK 8. This was on the ...

Low Expectations and Still Disappointed

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

Alaska is beautiful and I recommend any one to see it. We did a land and sea (12 day) with NCL. The sights were great but we were very disappointed with the regular tardiness on due to staff of NCL. We departed late from one stop to another, then excursions ran late due to poor communication, and wait staff didn’t seem to care to serve you rather than feed you and move on to the next. Overall the ...

Forget Royal Caribbean Cruise line

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

We went with our daughter and her family on this Alaska cruise. Alaska was wonderful, Royal Caribbean was terrible. We have traveled on many cruises, but this was our first Royal Caribbean cruise (and Last). Royal Caribbean does their remodeling during their active cruise trips. Shocking! The carpet in our hall was torn out and replaced with new carpet. The carpet and the glue smell was so toxic ...

We were part of an 18 member family party on a cruise from Vancouver BC to Anchorage AK. The staff were generally helpful, the facilities fine, the Alaskan scenery amazing, the food ok, yet my experience was largely negative. We brought our three small children with us. Mistake. The marketing literature implied “child friendly” but that is misleading. The kids center “Club Hal” was fun for older ...
