We used a driver I found from other reviewers. His name was Sarawut Sarawut and I connected with him on Facebook messenger. He was right on time meeting us at the port. Took us to ride elephants, pet a tiger!, spa massage, Big Buddha, and even helped us hire a private boat to take us to James Bond island! ...
Took ship trip to Phang Nga bay, James Bond island. Long day but we’ll organised, amazing scenery. Overnight in port so explored Patong beach area.
Spent day relaxing on Patong beach, cheap chairs and cocktails, great swimming. ...
Not really Phuket, Ship ported in Patong Beach 40mins to Phuket proper, took and hour to get back due to traffic. This was a tender port. Plenty to see. very cheap. ...
Went on trip with Oceania, was very rushed visited, went to a cultral show which was good but could not hear the commentary which was a shanme, our guide 'Bob' was ok. went to a gem factory which did not interest us so two of us sat outside for 45 mins, then visited a wonderful look out point, view great. Not really worth the money we paid but saw a lot fo Phuket from bus. ...

We organised a private tour through Klook Travel which took us around the island. The trip was as good as the ship excursion but much cheaper. If you arrange a private trip, be aware that in high season the ship uses a tender to reach shore at the south end of Patong Beach which is where pick up needs to be arranged. ...
Patong beach was not my thing. But enjoyed some other beaches further south. Used Grab taxi app. Better than local TukTuks with payment by card and a fair price presented in the app (like Uber) ...
