Fun NYE Cruise on MSC Virtuosa

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Virtuosa

I just read a review that was very long, so I'll try to be concise. This was a 7 day New Year's Eve sailing out of Le Havre (Paris) with stops at Southampton, Hamburg, Zebrugge, and Rotterdam. Because this was a holiday sailing, the ship was at full capacity, with over 6,300 passengers. For some reason, there were a lot of children on board. Pre-Cruise: Spent 3 nights in Paris, which we ...

MSC Cruises has been a significant part of our travel experiences for a long time, given that we reside in Europe. Our recent voyage on the MSC Preziosa over the holiday season, encompassing both Christmas and New Year's, left an indelible mark on us. The overall experience was nothing short of fantastic. One of the standout aspects of our MSC Preziosa cruise was the exceptional service ...

Left from Le Havre France. Did not get a very good send-off from the crew as only 300 passengers got on here (vs. Southampton - 2300 & Dublin - 300). Kinda surprising - would have expected more attention, but embarkation seemed like an afterthought. Loved the ship, the dining, the service & the shore excursions. Great variety of food. We ate mostly at the buffet but did have a couple of dinners in ...

I had earlier been on three cruises, two of them being to Europe (Mediterranean west and Southampton /Norway).This was our first experience with MSC Preziosa and we had a great time on the ship.I had booked a fantastica balcony cabin for me, my son and a close friend and our package included 36 drinks vouchers for our six day cruise. We had a very smooth Embarkation ,it took us just 20 minutes to ...

We chose this cruise as part of a group of 11 friends& relatives traveling together. I had not been to Scotland or Ireland before so I was excited about those ports. The ship is HUGE. This has both benefits and disadvantages. The embarkation process was great, but we arrived early. The food in the dining room and the buffet is average; I would give it a grade of B-. We enjoyed Alfredo's ...

This cruise was a part of an escorted tour. The cruise was a circumnavigation of Britain, plus Cork, Dublin, Belfast, St Peter Port and Le Harve. Being an organised tour, we took no Princess tours. Embarkation. This was from Southampton. We can only compare this to Sydney, Aust. It seemed like an organised chaos. Waiting times to get to the checkin desk exceeded an hour. There was also ...

Thank you to previous review writers of this cruise ship. Our expectations were fairly low with all the negative reviews, but we still booked because we liked the ports . Surprise, we loved the ship. I should point out I’ve also travelled on bigger ships with the Celebrity and Norwegian lines. Many complained about the meals. We found them delicious ( except for one night) Some complained ...

Maiden voyage Le Havre to Genoa - beautiful ship. Joined the ship from an overnight ferry service from Portsmouth - we were able to walk to the cruise terminal - the embarkation was good, if a little disorganised - large number of passengers to deal with. The ship is marvellous in all areas - the promenade dome is awesome. The balcony cabin was large although limited storage space - remember to ...
