Me and my husband have been on American cruise lines before (Carnival and Royal Carribean) and even thiugh we had our doubts about the MSC we decided to give it a try. Well the try was DISSAPOINTING! I will not ever take an MSC cruise again and giving the choice on the market would suggest the same for others. All the problems and poor service will mostly be noticed by big families and/ or ...

Disappointed, poor communication

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Marella Explorer 2

To start with the ship is not new. It has had a refit before joining the Marella cruise line. Tired, old, battered, broken but areas are clean, staff try really hard to make things look good. Cabins are again tired, it’s difficult to see were the refit took place, our balcony cabin had wood holding the glass balcony together, broken air conditioning, which either blasted cold freezing air ...

Never Again!!!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Bellissima

My husband and I chose Bellissima for two reasons; a fantastic itinerary and the fact that the ship was brand new. As expected, the ports did not disappoint, however, the cruise experience left a lot to be desired. Truth is, we never really felt that we were guests on this cruise, but rather passengers, on a new and beautiful ferry. With passengers embarking and disembarking daily, calls for ...

TUI Marella Explorer 2. Worst cruise we have ever been on!

Review for a Italy Cruise on Mein Schiff

Our cruise was with TUI, Marella Explorer 2. We sailed out of Naples 2nd May 2019. We have cruised 14 times before with many different companies and ships however, we feel that Tui Marella Explorer 2 is the worst ship and cruise that we have ever been on. We have cruised with Thomson 3 times and have always enjoyed the ships, food, very friendly staff and happy atmosphere on board. We feel ...

Don't waste your money.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Bellissima

Where to start? Embarkation and disembarkation were fairly smooth. No wow factor when boarding. Our cabin was fairly comfortable, but there was a lack of storage. Zoe, which was touted as the new best personal assistant was a waste of time. Didn't work once. We wasted far more time than necessary trying, unsuccessfuly, to get the system to change to English. Bed was comfortable. Food was average ...

The year before our family went on MSC Armonia for our first cruise. The ship was full but it didn't feel crowded and the food wasn't fantastic but we enjoyed it, esp the pizzas. The entertainment was good. Overall we enjoyed it. So when we heard about MSC's new and biggest ship we thought it would be very special and much better than the one we went on so we booked it. We waited for hours to ...

The only good thing about this experience was the ship, it is new. that is it. The entertainment is a joke, the food is horrible, they nickel and dime you, you have to even pay for water. They recently changed it for American market to which water is free. Watch out for $10 a day per person for service charge. They do not tell you unless you asked for the bill. Are you kidding me? Stay away from ...

First of all the good news, it s a beautiful ship! Cabins are very nice and quiet. Other positive point is the entertainment team, it s a big team and most of them are really nice, except for the italians...unfortunately, like all the italians on board, they lost their friendly attitude somewhere and they give you the feeling they are far better than the rest of the world. All the ...
