Having just returned from two weeks in the Southern Caribbean on the MSC Preziosa here are some general comments from the experience. We chose the January 11th through January 25th cruise so that we could visit several new Caribbean locations. The cruise for us was actually a back-to-back cruise originating in Martinique with no sea-days. Once on the Preziosa we found that many of the ...

We booked this Christmas and new year cruise 22-Dec -9th Jan-2019 as the itinerary offered places we had not been before, having travelled previously with MSC we were looking forward to this trip. The ship sailed from Guadalupe and MSC chartered a Virgin Atlantic flight from Gatwick to Guadalupe, we were unable to book in for the flight and were advised the seats were allocated by MSC, to my ...

A very different experience to all other cruises I have ever been on... Positives? Fantastic cabin steward. Other staff generally very good. Very healthy food. Clean, spacious room. Free upgrade from an inside cabin to a balcony. Staff spoke multiple languages, often up to 6+ (wow!) - this does, however, also mean it takes 10 minutes to introduce evening shows etc, as everything is repeated in ...

For our eighth cruise, my husband and I decided to try MSC for the first time because of the itinerary, which included two islands we had not visited before (Guadeloupe and Dominican Republic). We have sailed with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity in the past. On this cruise we were traveling with a toddler and my husband’s elderly parents. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive considering all the ...

Great itinerary but service is becoming worse and worse.

Plus: - very convenient fly&cruise package: MSC took care of our suitcase which was delivered straight to our cabin without the need to pick it up from the belt at the airport and carry it on the bus. This is the main reason we keep cruising MSC. - great itinerary with long port days abd extensive excursion programme - large pools Minus: - poor service, deteriorating as years go by. ...

Very disappointing experience in many aspects. The ship design except for the restaurants reminds me business hotel, no warmth in the public areas design whatsoever. Everything is computorized which creates a lot of difficulties for people 55 and over. It took of me two days to coordinate my dining and show schedules. Instead of enjoying the ship people runs from place to place to make sure that ...
