We did a small group kayaking tour booked by an off cruise company and it was wonderful. Small downtown with a few shops and a great craft brewery right near the dock. ...
We were expecting a water shuttle but were able to dock at the pier and walk into town which took about 15 mins. I wandered around taking pics of all the quaint buildings and stopped to buy a dozen postcards. I then went into the Post Office nearby for stamps and went back to the ship to write them out. From this very small town in the northwest of Iceland, we took a tour to the countryside, through unique tunnels, the beautiful waterfalls and quaint fishing villages. ...
