We chose not to do an excursion here and were perfectly satisfied! We shopped a little on the way in (there aren't too many shops to choose from due to previous hurricane damage). We then made our way down to the beach where they have free chairs and umbrellas. Beware of the guys giving you the umbrellas though, they want $20 just to put it in the ground. Walk down the pier, off the ship, and you reach the beautiful beach. We took family photos of 15 of us. Luckily my son in law brought camera and tripod. Carnival RUDE and completely snotty Pixel manager told us it would cost $500. For a photo shoot! He said he would take pics for free but we would need to purchase that amount to get ANY!
