Cruise owned pool and beach were overcrowded with two 3,500 passenger ships in port. Grand Turk is sadly in very bad shape from hurricanes.

Decided not to do an excursion and rented a golf cart to do our own thing. It was amazing! Everything went at our own pace and seen the island as we chose. Spent time at Jack's Shack snorkeling. The water was amazing.

There were no taxis in the parking lot when we were ready to leave so we ended up walking 15 minutes back to the ship. Read Less

Lot's to do at this port if you want to avoid $$ excursions. Enjoyed strolling through the shops and boutiques. Beach is within a 5 minute walk to the ship where you can rent 2 front row chairs $25 for the day or free if you don't mind being a little further back on the beach. Local staff on this island are friendly and never bothered by anyone trying to sell anything. A very nice relaxing day spent all at the port. Read Less
