Our cruise didn’t start well with all our luggage being lost on route. Three hours at the airport trying to resolve with no luck we exited out to Arrivals to be told by Tui we had missed our transfer. Went on the cruise with friends. We had previously sailed with AMA on the Danube and Viking in Portugal. Food, cabins, staff and ships are all comparable with previous experiences. We chose this cruise for relaxation and panorama. We got plenty panorama but not much rest. The biggest problem was the departure times of the visits, 8am or 8.30am. We were 90% elderly people and like to lie in in the mornings, especially when on holiday. We could see no harm in the departure times being a little later, maybe 9.30am. Very good itiniary, staff were on the ball except for one gentleman who was not with it and lacked interest in any customers. Ship was quality with all the mod cons. Our first river cruise. It was very good! Now. It was the Viking TOR - a small ship - not what ocean cruisers are used to. Everything is smaller and limited. The staterooms are smaller, the public spaces are smaller, and the dining room is smaller. Gotta deal with that if you were just last on the Oasis.
