The shopping experience in the pier is fine and my father did buy some alcohol but overall this isn't a great port. Beaches in Jamaica, I feel are much worse than the Mexico beaches. We were warned on a previous cruise going to Falmouth that the port was built due to cruisers not wanting to get off the ship to prevent being harassed.
