Love how small and walkable it is. Leche art museum at 5 euros is worth it, but napoleon’s house at 7 euros not so much. Note it’s small and crowded with very little in authentic pieces. The church and citadel are free. The beach is beautiful, but there is a bad undertow . ...

Oh I love Ajaccio. Such an easy port to navigate and so relaxing. Took the open air bus down the coast, which is so pretty, to see the archipelago. Then took a stroll through town to the tiny garden behind Napolean's house. Stopped by Bar 1er consul for a yummy espresso (always very friendly staff and quick too). Corsica - in Ajaccio the ships docks in the city, so we walked to the market, the beaches, parks, the SPAR store, then back through the pedestrian alley way near the port. After a lunch break on the ship and change to cooler clothing we took the yellow open-top tourist bus at 1:45pm (not HOHO) for €9. This is an hour ride with recorded commentary.
