Overall a great cruise, value for money. Ship looks great. Maintenance seemed up to date and all looked clean and shipshape. Main dining room food was excellent, maybe Lido buffet a bit underwhelming but certainly ok. Tried Veranda restaurant and was execellent. Had the sole not steak. Not as stuffy as I had expected and surprisingly gala nights made a nice special occasion but I would still ...

Christmas Cruise on QE

We chose this cruise as wanted to experience a Cunard Christmas and also because as departing from Adelaide and returning to Adelaide, no flights involved. QE didn't let us down- wonderful Christmas trees and decorations everywhere- even had "snow": outside the OLD LION. The itinerary was good and the seas even allowed us to spend Christmas Day cruising the three Sounds. We had an aft ...

Faultless from start to finish

My husband had never sailed with Cunard and I wanted him to share the experience. Having sailed on QM2 from the UK back in 2010, I was worried it might be a little austere but I could not have been more wrong. We were at least 20 years younger than most passengers and we have never seen so many zimmer frames in one place but it was wonderful from start to finish. It was only a 2 night trip from ...

Just spent 7 magnificent and relaxing days on the Queen Elizabeth, our group of 12 were spoilt by a band and classy singers that kept our dancers very satisfied.the selection of music and songs were perfect for us to dance to.you can’t find many cruise liners that can do what this band did in the queens room.they guaranteed many more visits with a much bigger audience once we tell our dance groups ...

Ok after the last 2 disappointing cruises with princess we thought we'd give cunard a go.Def aimed at.a diff market. .only one child on board for first half of cruise (poor bugger was lonely in kids club) The average age was older and this changed down to around 55 after melb. Embarkation and disembarking was brilliant.so much more efficient.Food was.great 8 out of 10 the ship was ...

True North takes us to remote places that we would never otherwise see.It is most known for its Kimberley trips and they are a must . After travelling to so many ancient places in the world in search of history ,the Kimberley just blew me away as it's all there . We have traveled with True North before - this was our sixth trip on board ! Southern Safari Adventure Cruise was just incredible ...

Embarked at Adelaide on a16 day cruise of several Australian ports. The ship handled well in a force 7 gale at night with 8metre waves with no roll but with a gentle pitch to lull you to sleep. The public rooms are large and with 2700 people on board one never felt crowded,in some areas there were 20 to 30 people. This vessel is not for people who want nightclubbing. There are 2 floorshows each ...

P.S. Murray Princess, Paddlewheel Experience

What a great cruise, relaxing, great sights, made a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun doing it. We were picked up on time by bus from Adelaide. one of three stops before heading of to Mannum, the town that the paddlewheel ship departs from, John the driver was a bit of a hard case, and the 2 1/2 hour trip flew by with John's rendition of the local area and history. The ship itself ...

The ship was wonderful. great layout and cabins are large. Crew could not have been more wonderful and helpful. Shore excursions are always very well organized and very informative.
