"I must apologize in advance for my very lengthy review, but felt I should be fair and practical in my findings. I will say that prior to this cruise, I had only sailed on Carnival, so in all fairness, it isn't a..."Read More

First Time Cruiser

Age 10s

The summer of 2019 was my first time cruising and I was super excited because I was constantly just watching videos of previous cruisers for the ship I was boarding(MSC Armonia) and it was all good reviews but I wanted to experience it for myself! From the moment I stepped from the port to the deck of the ship the staff was just so pleasant and kind! Upon arriving to our room the size was ...

I don't understand why people are so afraid of cruises. Cruise ships are probably the safest places in the world. I wish all services ashore were so professional in terms of Covid prevention. Before boarding the ship, we had to do two tests, a PCR test in our country and a swab test at the terminal. Body temperature was measured before entering the terminal and on board the ship every day ...

MOODY BLUES CRUISE THE WORST!

I took this cruise because it was a rock n roll cruise. The problem was the Moody Cruise staff. They were rude and abrasive to the passengers. The head of security was seen grabbing a woman by the arm and pulling her up from a chair because he was in a rage for some reason. He should have been charged with a criminal assault' and fired! They got after a senior passenger who was moving as quickly ...

First Mediterranean cruise, I've been on 10 total cruises. Service was great staff was friendly, restaurant staff was friendly and entertaining and was really involved in keeping our young children smiling. Food was ...ok... nothing special, still was better than you'd get at the drive thru. This was right at the beginning of COVID-19 in Italy, MSC was quick to respond on board and a clean ship ...

We are belgian frequent cruisers and we couldn't wait any longer to cruise again. So we did. After a max 72 hours pre cruise covid19 test at home and a new quick covid19 test in Genoa (50 min) it was time for boarding. Embarkation was really quick after a negative test (but we had to stay in numberd groups of app.25 guests) No rush, because there were only app. 750 !!! guests on board, ...

We did a week on Grandiosa from Genoa to Malta and back on 25/10. It was great, we felt really safe and looked after. We covid tested 3 days before departure at home then again on the day of departure (MSC's test in port) and again 3 days before disembarking. Gel was everywhere as were good handwashing stations which we were made to use before all meals. We wore masks everywhere except at ...

Small Cabin, Very Poor Service Generally, Especially When Sun Bathing on Decks and they Certainly want to Pack you in.!! High Pressure Selling their Full Drinks package, which is okay but due to this take up, or maybe it's a standard thing on MSC cruises but when Sun bathing on deck every other cruises we been on there was constant flow of waiters coming around asking if you'd like a drink from ...

Uncomfortable Non Smoking ship, inhospitable staff

MSC is my preferred cruise line but I was let down by this ship and some of the staff. I enjoy a smoke with my cocktails and also a chair to sit on but there is very limited smoking areas and sitting areas on this ship. On the back deck the chairs and tables were available to sit on about 2 or 3 hours the entire cruise. They had them stacked in the corner. The only smoking area inside the ...

Beautiful beautiful beautiful, I love this ship. We spent 18 days on this ship and I don't think we saw everything or tried every bar like we planned. But along the way we met some new friends, amazing staff, had lots of laughs and good times. I booked Aurea cabin 14279, had a look on youtube and saw the overhang, lucky I was able to change to cabin 14041 the last cabin at the front before ...
