I had the wonderful opportunity of cruising on the Wilderness Discoverer in July 2011, with my husband and 22 year old very athletic son. In one word: AWESOME
We were able to participate in various levels of activities every day. We opted for the long day hikes and kayaking experiences. Care was taken to provide fairness in signing up for the activities one chose. The bottom line, there were no bad choices to make, as the inner passage is so beautiful, we never once wished we were doing anything other than what each moment awarded us.
Unfortunately, there was a couple in their 30's on the cruise who appeared to some passengers to perhaps be in it for the free ride. On day one, they made it well known to fellow passengers that one of them was a lawyer, and that there were breaches in the contract. It appeared as though nothing would please them. They were travelling around the world, and one could not help but wonder if they didn't find contractual breaches throughout their world tour.
We had three adults in a triple cabin. It was very COZY.... but do-able. We put the two twins together, and the pull-down berth was mostly over the floor space. It was small, but we had the time of our lives. Our cabin was only used for sleeping, bathing, and changing. You wouldn't want to spend free time in the cabin, as there was too much to see outside. But, if you are going to do a triple, be prepared for some family coziness and laughs :)
