We are two cruisers in our mid/late 20's from GA. This was our 9th Carnival cruise.

This was our first, and now only, time leaving out of Mobile. We parked at the Convention Center, walked 5 minutes, and saved enough for several DODs on board. :) Check in was quick and easy, 25 minutes from luggage drop off to getting our Sail and Sign pictures made.

The ship was in good shape for her age, going into dry dock soon. Only complaints were some in a hurry paint jobs but otherwise the common areas looked pretty good. Our cabin, not so much. The fan in the bathroom was SO loud, but nothing could be done about. Also, our closet doors were warped and did not shut. We never met our cabin steward to mention it though. Read more
