So we have been on a number of Disney cruises in the past and have always loved them. The Magic is one of our favorite ships and I was very disappointed to not have any magic on the new Dream.

The problems started from the port, where it was obvious Disney wasn't ready for the large increase in headcount from the smaller ships. As we arrived at the cruise terminal, Disney was still working on getting passengers off from the previous trip and the place was a mad house. The wait to get on the ship was over 2 hours and this is something we never experienced before. Once on the ship, Disney began running out of things immediately. They were out of Pizza at the Pizzeria, sandwiches at the sandwich shop. The shows and movies on board were so full, that if you wanted to see any of them, you had to get there 30 minutes early to get a seat at all. We went to see one of the first run movies in the theater on board and arrived 15 minutes before it started to find there were no seats left at all. Some were standing through the whole movie, others where just sitting on the stairs in the theater.

The wonderful piano bar from the Magic and Wonder, doesn't exist on this ship. There is a small cramped place where they have an electric piano, but this is only early after noon and acoustics where awful.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6A

Cabin was nice. Queen bed was much better than the standard two twins pushed together of other cruise ships.
