Sail Date: Dec 2010

We have cruised Carnival since the early 70's and have never had a bad cruise. We were very unhappy with the service on this ship. We discussed the problems we were haviang with other guests, who we had met on Cruise Critic before we left on this cruise.

The general consensus was the same, the service was not up to par. The dining room service was very poor. We feel that the people who worked the tables had not been properly trained, which really surprised us. Also, they were very short staffed in that dining room. Service was slow and not friendly. We will continue to cruise with Carnival, we have never had anything bad to report on with them in the past, but will never cruise on the Glory again.

The Maitre d did not ask people not to enter dressed shabby, in shorts and ballcap on. If people want to dress like that, it is their business, but they should eat on top deck. Not in the dining room, as it is not Mc Donalds fast food restaurant. I have never understood people who get a kick out of breaking rules, and I think that the rules should be enforced.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was about the same as others we have experienced in the past. Our cabin steward was very nice and kept everything tidy and shipshape (couldn't resist that phrase). It was roomier than some that we have been on for a balcony cabin.
