Sail Date: Oct 2021

We were originally scheduled to take this cruise in October 2020 but were able to postpone it with little or no fuss and at the price we originally paid. We had been on river cruises previously, but had not taken a sea cruise before so weren't sure what to expect. Check-in though lengthy because of covid requirements, was smooth and efficient, and to be honest the precautions were reassuring.

The ship was sailing with a pax capacity of 50% also because of covid regulations.

Once on board we found our Deck 3 Terrace Cabin easily and it was immaculate, light and airy, spacious and very pleasant. There were patio doors opening onto the promenade deck but these were glazed with privacy glass so anyone outside couldn't see in. We had two steamer loungers outside which were reserved for our use - we were provided with comfy cushions daily for them. On sea days it was great to be able to sit outside our cabin in the sun rather than trailing along to the public seating areas which could at times be a bit noisy and crowded. The cabin itself was well equipped - the bed was large with two individual duvets which suited us very well as apparently I'm a duvet-hogger!! Dozens of hangers in the wardrobes, tea and coffee equipment, sofa and table and an armchair. Also a safe and a fridge.

Cabin Review

Excellent all round - very little movement or engine noise. Airy and spacious. Well equipped and comfortable.
