We were on the Mermaiden Voyage on Oct 6, 21, and it exceeded expectations. This was definitely a very different cruise experience. The rooms were nice but loved the hammock on the balcony and the moods you could program on the in room tablet. The food was probably among the best food experiences I've experienced at sea, especially the Test Kitchen. Although they say there are 20 eateries, it seems like they just took a few choices like pizza, and poke bowls that could have been included in the Galley, which was their version of the buffet and, spread them to other locations. The shows were very different but fun and very interactive. We really enjoyed all of the entertainers who interacted with the passengers throughout the cruise. Customer service was top notch all the way. And, my favorite parts were the hidden secret locations throughout the ship like the karaoke rooms that we stumbled upon day by day. I'm sure we did not find them all which should give us a reason to go again.
The cabin was really cool. The curtains, lights and tv were controlled by a tablet. My only issue was there were a list of movies to watch or a choice of 4 cable news stations. It would have been nice to have at least one local American tv station.
