All excellent apart from one major flaw in you like to lounge in the sun.

Sail Date: Sep 2021

We went on the 11 day cruise and picked the Getaway as we have been on the ship before. The ship has everything you need and the food and service is next to none. But there is one reason that I would not sail on the Getaway again. We had two sea days and we were told that the ship was 50% full. I knew that the Vibe section had been expanded but not to the extent that it has been. At around 10.30 on the sea day there were people looking for loungers on the ship. This was even though the ship was half its full passenger count. I looked in the Vibe section and there were two people there. Asking as guest services about tickets to access the vibe. It was 750€ for the rest of the cruise or 99$ for a day pass. On the Epic you were able to access the front of the ship where there is a public sundeck. This used to be the case on the Getaway. I just hope that NCL are not going to be doing this for the other ships in the Breakaway class. I could not imagine what it would be like if the ship was full. I usually cannot fault NCL and have been of around 15 cruises with them. But for those of us who like to relax in the sun as well as see different places I may have to look at other lines if NCL are going to start up charging just to find a place to relax.

Cabin Review

I had a 1 person cabin. It was perfect for one with excellent lighting, bed and shower.
