Cabin: The Haven Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Like many cruisers, we had multiple cruises cancelled in 2020 and 2021. We selected this cruise because it began on our anniversary and allowed us to use a voucher for a previously scheduled trans-Atlantic flight. Our original cabin was a 2-BR Haven suite. We bid on the low end for the H2 and H3 cabins, although I knew they were not available at the time of our booking. We won the bid for an H3, . Our cabin was located at the very front of the ship, just above the bridge.

After dropping our baggage, we were directed to a large tent, where Covid testing was performed. Our appointment time was 10:00 to 10:30. Please note that you need to have the QDR you received when you completed the NCL form for testing. You should also be prepared to show your Covid vaccine card. After we received our negative test results, we were provided with pink bracelets and directed to the reception area. We checked in and were then escorted into a small Haven waiting area. Our concierge, David Contreras, was there to welcome us. I believe we were on the ship before noon. Once to our room, our butler, Leo Austria, immediately stopped by to introduce himself. Our cabin was stocked with Bailey's, gin and a bottle of wine. Our refrigerator had mixers and a bottle of champagne. All Latitudes vouchers, Vibe bracelets and shore excursion tickets were already in our room.

Our understanding was that there were 2300 passengers on-board, and all Haven cabins were occupied. I don't think there was a time when we couldn't get a lounger on the sun deck or that we waited long at the bar or restaurant. The staff in the Haven was amazing. Employees were happy to be back to work and cruisers were happy to be back cruising.

Cabin Review

The Haven Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

This cabin is located at the bow of the ship. We spent many mornings watching as the ship entered port. The balcony is spacious enough for 2 loungers and a table with 4 chairs. Our butler served us coffee and croissants there on most mornings. We'd happily choose this cabin again.
