I chose this particular cruise because with COVID we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the country. We also didn’t agree with the cruise industry being the only industry shut down 100% so we decided at that time to book a cruise to Alaska. With that said I referred to my travel agent for recommendations. He suggested Princess so we took his suggestion.
The ship is beautiful, the crew was amazing except for a few servers in the dining room. It started going downhill the first night of the cruise we arrived at our prearranged dining time and was seating with other guests. Excited and ready for a good dinner. Oh wait they ran out of the main dish most of us ordered. To make matters worse they waited over an hour after we ordered to let us know. RAN OUT OF FOOD! Unbelievable. We left to go to the mediocre show as we didn’t know what to expect. The food on this ship was awful. Don’t have expectations of a good meal because you won’t get one here. I made the ship aware of a nut allergy and yet they insisted that pistachio cookies didn’t have nuts in them. Really?
No activities on board, no music at the pool everything was very subdued! It’s a great cruise if you want to catch up on sleep.
Cabin Review
The room was decent it was much smaller then other balcony cabins on other ships. No place to put clothes other then closet. Our first room the door didn’t lock properly and instead of repairing they decided to move us to another room in the middle of the night after we unpacked.

Loved it!! The Glacier and salmon bake was fabulous. That was the best salmon I have ever had. So glad we chose that excursion. Just wish we had more time at the Glacier.

Stunning but very hard to understand the guides when you were on deck.

Skagway
Did the train ride but it didn’t love it. Hard to see because of overgrown trees and our trip was cut short because of construction. We weren’t informed until we got on board.
