We were hesitant to cruise again due to COVID but after being fully vaccinated and reading that Celebrity required all crew and most passengers to also be vaccinated, we took the chance. My husband and I both have disabilities and had requested wheelchair assistance on both embarkation and debarkation. Pre-cruise we were assigned arrival time slots.

Upon arrival at our designated time at the FLL terminal, agents were there to greet us immediately, bringing us wheelchairs and moving us thru the designated boarding time lanes. We did use both the Celebrity app and also had printed papers with us, since our experience with iphone apps is pretty limited. The agents were extremely courteous, reviewed our boarding papers and had us on our way. After reviewing the vaccination proof they mentioned that once on board we did not need to continue to wear our facemasks if we preferred not to. They were mandated throughout the terminal though, and we were happy to comply. Since our arrival time period was 12:30 p.m. our stateroom was ready ad available for our use immediately. The Seapass cards were hanging on our door handle in a closed folder.

We had booked an infinite veranda and wasn't quite sure how we would like it. At first glance, it did make the room seem larger than usual. The windows are the width of the room and the top window dropped down to open fully to allow us to look out and enjoy the breeze. At night, the room attendant lowered a full length blind over the window. We tried leaving it open about 3 ft. off the floor so the light would come in when the sun came up. And rolling over on my side and looking thru that space in the morning and seeing the ocean right outside our window was a treat! Now, I would not hesitate to get that type of cabin again.

Cabin Review

Edge Veranda Stateroom

We enjoyed our infinite veranda more than we thought we would. The cabin was larger than most cabins we have been in; of course being a newer ship, the decor was lovely, and storage space was more than sufficient for two of us. We had a lovely attendant who kept the room spotless and organized. There are extra outlets that are easily reached to use a curling iron or charge your phone. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the lighting and AC in the room were great.
