This was our first time cruising with Celebrity. We have cruised with NCL, Carnival and RCL in the past. The ship was very nice, it has been refurnished recently and looks great. It was a last minute cruise, had some vacation time to use. We did Alaska 26 years ago - our first cruise! We enjoyed this cruise! The ship was only 60% capacity which was really nice - no lines.

We went with an inside cabin which was a great location, mid-ship - the glass elevators close and the buffet only 2 flights of stairs up. We took the stairs most of the time. The cabin was very nice, the shower has a glass door, plenty of hot water. There was a night light feature under the sink which was nice. Did not have to turn on bathroom light when spouse was sleeping. Bed/bedding was comfy. There was plenty of storage,

Food was just ok. I was expecting it to be better than RCL, but it was not. Main Dining was mostly empty at early dinner sitting, but our service was slow. Download the app - you can see the menu on it then. At the buffet restaurant, the homemade ice cream, cookies and sorbet was excellent!
