Sail Date: Sep 2021

We have done 16 Cruises previously but we hadn’t tried MSC. We were left extremely disappointed with the whole trip and have never experienced anything like this with any other cruise company.

Embarkation was 3.5 hours in a long queue outside with no seating, food or water and no information given out. (We did get some biscuits & coke towards the end of the check in procedure). We arrived at the allocated Check in time but it didn’t seem to matter when you turned up. The Check in procedure actually went smoothly once you eventually got inside the Terminal but the COVID test wasn’t done till then either.

During check in we were told our cabin had been changed (Not an upgrade). We were told that the luggage would be delivered to the right cabin – It was not and later we found it outside our original cabin.

Cabin Review

The Cabin was actually very nice. It was clean and spacious. There was a kettle, which for us was a bonus but only 1 sachet of coffee and no milk powder. It was the same for 3 days we were on there. There was no Breakfast menu to hang on the door either. Otherwise no complaints about the cabin.
