The ship is beautiful! Our room with private balcony was worth it. The food was plentiful and mostly good. The crew was mostly helpful. A few never smiled. (Bad contract maybe?) The Riverlorian was one of the best in the nation. Learned a lot. Entertainment on the stage was over the top. Weather was perfect! Room was well taken care of. Off ship Hop On Hop Off was good. Those are all the good things.

Now for the not so good…… Upgrade for the wine/alcohol package was not worth it. Only guy with a key was generally not available and a few times off the ship. Port docking was a disaster a few times. Those in wheelchairs or walkers almost had to be carried a few times. One golf cart at some ports. Three golf carts at other ports. The WiFi internet for the most part did not exist. Used up all my cellphone data plan fairly quickly. Some ports had upgrade tours (think Field of Dreams or Air Boat rides through the swamps) but they sold out very quickly. Better luck next time.

Hope the review helps you understand what to expect. We left St Paul to New Orleans for 15 days.
