We were on this ship right before they did the renovations on the pool deck, so we wanted to come back and see what the changes were. Embarkation and Disembarkation were a breeze. This trip by far was the quickest we were ever able to get on a ship, without waiting in long lines. Everyone at the Miami port were very friendly and welcoming. The ship is beautiful.
All the staff were friendly, and very helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and glad to get back to work. The ship staff are serious about the COVID restrictions, mask wearing, and social distancing. There is hand sanitizer every where. We never felt like we were in any danger of getting sick.
The food... I feel like most of the food in the main dining room used to be frozen and cryo packed and not fresh at all. The food in the main dining room used to be so good.
Once we got on the ship, we went to our owners suite room 1340. The suite was beautiful and very spacious. The bed... not so good.... the pillows.... not so good, the A/C... not so good. In the evenings after turn down, our steward would close the drape that separates the living area from the bed area. We figured out, with that drape closed, there is no A/C that gets to that area where the bed is. Not that the A/C worked well to begin with, but with the drape closed, it made it awful. The bed felt as if it were old, and well slept in. Pillows choice was either way to fluffy to where it was as if you had no pillow, or hard as a rock. There was no in between. This room is right below the restaurant Giovanni's. every night when you're trying to sleep, they are moving tables and chairs around to wake you up. No big deal. Who needs sleep anyway.
5 star, all the way. Spend the money and book a floating cabana, it is so worth it. Matthew & Andrew were wonderful.
