We are not fans of "BIG" ships. Our thirty+ cruise have always favored mid sized ships. The Celebrity Equinox may have changed our minds. At 122,000 tons she is certainly among the largest ships sailing but she is extremely well laid out with many bars, clubs, dining venues, and entertainment sites. We never felt crowded in any way.

Embarcation, in Ft. Lauderdale, was well organized and very efficient. More than ample dock-side staffing enabled a quick passage through to our stateroom. Celebrity's I-Phone app was pivotal in speeding the process. We were require to show a less than 72 hour old negative Covid test as well as our vaccination certificates. This bolstered our confidence in the ships emphasis on good health.

The ships officers were always visible and engaging. The hotel director, Andrea, was the best I've ever encountered. She was personable, involved, and obviously well respected by the crew. The entire crew was extremely pleasant and helpful in every way. They did not tell you where the object of your inquiry was, they escorted you to it! When I casually mentioned to a crew member that I liked Napoleon pastries, I found two of them delivered to my stateroom.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Our SKY SUITE was spacious (nearly 400 sq. ft.) well arranged, and very comfortable. All amenities were thoughfully provided.
