Well it was nice to get back to cruising, The Millennium was wonderful. We have been on the Equinox, Reflection, Mercury and Century before but not on this class of ship. Being we were only at 50% cruisers it was easy to get around to all the venues. All of the staff were fantastic. All the staff were wearing masks. Food of course with celebrity is very good. Shows were exceptional. We missed Allysium (spelling may be wrong) as we saw it both on the Equinox and Reflection. The show is good so if you haven't seen it do go to it. Cruise director Alaxandro was good along with his staff and the Captain was out and about and informative at his talks. We had an emergency evacuation for a passenger who was flow off the ship on a helicopter to Sitka. The captain informed us about this and also updated condition of the passenger. I thought this was very important to let all know what went on. We had one small draw back on our trip. It was that we could not go to Dawes glacier as it was too foggy so Captain made decision that it was not safe to go in. That meant we got in to Juneau a couple of hours earlier making our time in Juneau longer.

The renovation was nice. Our favorite venue was the Rendezvous lounge. This was where there were game shows and entertainment outside the Sky lounge. Located near main dining room.

Embark was a very quick as well as debark. No problems.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

cabin was right next to elevator towards the aft. This was very close to Ocean View buffet and main dining. As some reviews say it was noisy near elevators but we did not think so even with less cruisers. I don't think it would be a problem with more cruisers. Cabin decor was nice and seem there was ample storage and drawer space.

Port Reviews

Juneau

We went whale watching as our excursion. It was the whale watching with culinary food. We did see whales and one breeched out of the water. Food we thought was a disappointment . We would recommend to do a whale watching excursion. We ate lunch at the Red Dog Saloon. The food was good and entertainer was good.

Ketchikan

Went on the misty fjords excursion. It was really nice and nice sights. Good excursion.

Skagway

Don't miss out on taking this excursion. We took the streetcar tour. Our hostess was Red who did a great job of driving us around Skagway. The drivers all dress up in clothes that dated back when original streetcar ran. There is minimal walking on the tour. Don't miss. We did not go on White Pass railroad as we had gone on it 20 years ago.
