When arriving to the terminal, NCL has taken the step of having a "free" Covid 19 test preformed on ALL passengers before being allowed to embark. LOL! NCL Gem was amazing, we did the Western Cruise and the food was top notch, the entertainment was awesome, The Duo show, Kinky Boots, The Comedian and much more were ALL AWESOME! The crew is wonderful, we gave out $5 bills & singles to the staff, we gave our room steward an additional $70 to help out, they are struggling so if you have an additional $100 to $150 to hand out, do it. The Mask was not required and out of 1100 passengers, there were maybe 10 to 20 people that wore The Mask, I assume they have MAJOR underlying conditions or are uneducated to the facts of The China Flu Virus. People have been asking since 3.2020, How long is this going to last? The answer is, as long as YOU allow it to. We went on the monkey, bird, and rope bridge tour in Roatan Honduras, The Mask wearing is not enforced, the employees do not want to wear them either and we did not wear ours on the bus trip & the employees wore them under their nose and many under their chin, they are smart in Honduras. On Harvest Caye, The Mask is required so we got off the ship, laughed and turned around and got back on to enjoy FREEDOM. Cozumel was VERY easy going on The Mask. On the ship, the poor employees are forced to wear The Mask but I spoke with the Captain and he's hoping it won't be for much longer. It's clear to see what's going on. The ship is clean and the game shows, the cruise director & her right hand man were fun, it's about relaxing, laughing and enjoying The Cruise. There's plenty of Science on the fact that seeing people's faces brings out good endorphins that make people feel good along with breathing fresh air and when forcing people to wear THEIR Mask of Shame it can bring on depression, suicide is up 70% in the USA due to the ridiculous lockdowns, the covering of the faces and much more idiocracy (the movie) & it's clear to see. In the airports not 1 security guard asked us to put on The Mask, most people know that we must stand up and STOP with the RIDICULUS rules.....we walked into the airport, up to check in our bags, then off to Pre check, we did put The Mask on to get through security but ALWAYS exposed our nose, no one said anything to us except on our flight home when we were asked to cover our nose, we complied & the madness is clear to see. PAST time to cruise. We choose brighter days ahead, NOT A Dark Winter is Coming. Get OUT and go cruising..........
