This ship is very different from what you might expect from Carnival. Much bigger, beautifully decorated, and many dining options included in cruise fare. Same great crew you find on all Carnival ships. Working hard and always smiling.

The Good

As I mentioned the ship is nicely decorated, has some great new features (Bolt, many fee based restaurants included during inaugural season), and the amazing Carnival crew. The ship is large and was only sailing at 70%. There are several crowded areas and people flow bottlenecks which I hope will be worked out before they go to 100% capacity. Purchased the premium WiFi which was fairly good most of the time. The Carnival FunHub app is needed to see daily activities and to request tables in restaurants. Very easy to use. New muster drill process is very fast. Storage in cabin in pretty good (no more life jackets in the cabins freeing extra space in closet). Finally - no more shower curtains!!! Carnival one of the last lines to still have shower curtains on newbuilds. Well, no more. Thank you!!! Bathroom small but no more hideous blue floor and countertops. Nicely decorated as is the cabin. USB ports all around the cabin. Nice big TV, fridge that really did a great job, and a couch to relax on.
