Overall my husband and I enjoyed our cruise. This was a medallion cruise which was a new experience. At first I thought I was bizarre however through the app everything was done prior to boarding which made things super easy. I especially like the way your cabin door was unlocked as you walked up and no touch security and purchases. Because there is a photo attached to the medallion the crew could see who you were when you used it for verification. The weather wasn't the greatest until the last part however you don't have control over that. Covid precautions were in place and followed by everyone which was nice, and there just wasn't any issue....it was just normal. The ship was not full which wasn't a bad thing; seemed not a full crew. This was evident in the buffet dining area and it was very slow getting beverages. This was the third cruise for the MP and I believe the crew was still getting to know each other. The first performance we saw the dancers were not in time with each other, however again..I would chalk this up to not enough working together. The shows we attended were still great. Some of the niceties we've had in the past were missing - champagne fountain, towel animals, service club gather were missing however I believe over time these might return also. Time spent in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan were great. Loved the salmon fishing shore excursions purchased through Princess prior to departure. None of the downsize items I've mentioned would keep me from cruising Princess again. It was a great getaway and I'd do it again. I enjoyed the peacefulness of it all...it's what I needed.

Cabin Review

Don't remember the category ..hahaha.... We had a midship aft balcony mini suite and it was GREAT. Had a full size bath/shower, queen bed configuration, sofa sleeper and pull down bunk, mini frig. We didn't use the sofa sleeper or pulldown however it was interesting to see it was there. Very enjoyable balcony and comfortable bed.

Juneau

Took my husband on a bar crawl. Alaska Hotel and Bar is fun local hangout. Good beers/wine and good people. Not on the tourists' list; we were the only non-locals in there. Hanger on the Wharf had great chowder and atmosphere, again not full of ship passengers. And finally Red Dog Saloon just because you have to :)
