OVERVIEW:
My review is very detailed so if you would like to jump to another section the order of my paragraphs follows; overview, hotel, embarkation, stateroom, food, entertainment & activities, service, quarantine, ports & excursions, debarkation, and finally summary. Our cruise was a 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise going to The Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, and St. Maarten. This is our fifth cruise and second with Celebrity. I went with my 15 year old son, he did not go to the kids club and he said this was his favorite cruise. We sailed with about 1300 passengers (~43% capacity). Because of the reduced capacity there was never a line anywhere and seats were always available. Masks were not required (other than in all ports and terminals) so the cruise felt almost normal. Also there are confirmed to be at least 5 people who tested positive for Covid on our cruise though that did not instate any changes to the cruise. We were close contacts to somebody who tested positive and were quarantined and tested on the last day (more information is below).
HOTEL:
We stayed in veranda cabin which is in category 1b. The balcony had plenty of enough room for two chairs, a table, and standing room despite being a regular balcony. The room was given new pillows, a larger TV, and new decor in the refurbishment; very stylish. There was a large couch, desk, cupboards, and a somewhat small presumably "queen" sized bed. The bathroom is large and the shower is surrounded with glass. They provided conditioner, shampoo, and body wash which seemed watered down. Our stateroom attendant was Courtney who helped us with every need and was friendly. If you do not get your tote bags ask for the amount you want. Ours broke, we asked for two, and got them.
