We toured with a travel company and AmaWaterways was the company they used for cruising the Danube. We were the first Americans in 2021 to cruise on the AmaMagna. It is a beautiful ship with wonderful cabins. We had a balcony off of our room which was wonderful for relaxing and viewing the sites as we cruised. The food was exceptional. I have a gluten intolerance and they went above and beyond to make sure I was eating food just like the other passengers. We loved the roominess of the upper deck and we spent considerable time there relaxing and taking in all the sites. I love the fact that the ship is limited to 195 people, and we never felt crowded. The shore excursions were mostly walkable and there were ample choices to accommodate any physical limitataions. The service was impeccable and the whole experience led us to put a deposit down on a future cruise.

Budapest

Budapest has to be one of my favorite cities in the world. We loved the food, the architecture, the people and the general hospitality. The people there truly were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you add this to your “bucket list”.
