The American Countess is a beautiful clean new ship. The ship has large windows in the library and card rooms to watch the river, and lots of chairs on decks. I went down the Mississippi from Memphis to New Orleans. I have some foot problems and the company provide a golf cart at every landing to take people from the ship to the excursion bus, so I availed myself of that service. I loved every minute of it...history, nature, architecture, river lore...the cruise provided everything I could possibly want. I didn't do any premium excursions because I had plenty to do with the Hop on, Hop Off bus excursions. The food was amazing. I love seafood, and there was an abundance of it. The crew was friendly and competent. The wine and drinks were excellent. Sometime the wifi was spotty but I think the company could not be held responsible for that, as we were moving along the river. The motion of the river is gentle and steady. I recommend this cruise to anyone.

Cabin Review

Cabin was large with a couch and a private balcony. It was relaxing to watch the river go by. Excellent TV reception, fridge and coffeemaker. Bathroom large. Our attendant was polite and attentive.
