We had chosen this cruise to be able to experience the coast of Norway and sample Norwegian specialities. The cruise delivered on the former but not the latter.

Restaurant are in urgent need of training to be customer oriented, and acted like they were doing passengers a favour by being there. Although there was an effort to accommodate the food restrictions of some of the passengers in our group, the regular menu meals were served in miniscule amounts by any European standard (see photo).

On the "sun deck" there were chairs for perhaps 1/4 of the passengers, which led to a lot of visible disappointment especially by older passengers. A grand total of two 4-person jacuzzi tubs were available in a ship that has a 700 passenger capacity (one of which was closed for unknown reasons until a passenger alerted a member of staff).
