What a great way to restart cruising in the US. We are more Princess people than Celebrity people but Celebrity went above and beyond with their service and taking steps to keep everyone safe. They run a great operation. Everything was smooth. Service was spirited. The crew gave 110% every day. The ship is immaculate. Food was very good, albeit traditional (we would have liked to see more healthy options). There are so many great little "hidden" spaces throughout the ship. Captain Kate is a superstar. Not a lot to do for the kids, but they kept themselves occupied. Entertainment was very good, although a bit rough around the edges since these were first performances. I like having four main dining restaurants, but we would up sticking with one to keep the same waiters. The buffet was above and beyond, especially the deserts (cannoli bar; chocolate fountain, creme brulee bar, cupcake bar, need I say more?) This was truly the best of cruising, and shocking given the 15-month layoff. I could not believe cruising could be this good again, but in many ways it was better. Kudos to Celebrity for pulling this off.
Love the infinity balcony. Gives us more room, even with four in a cabin (two kids on the couch that pulls out as a trundle bed). Spacious bathroom. Great shower. Closet was a little on the small side but we managed. High tech lights take some getting used to, but it is fun using the app to control lights, TV, shade, etc.
