Really enjoyed my cruise on the Mississippi. Staff really took wonderful care of us. Food was very good and even included surf and turf on the final night. Price included excursions which were very interesting. Had the opportunity to learn more about the civil war, visit an outstanding museum and see several very interesting plantations. All tour guides were well prepared. Back on the ship we had relevant presentations and the chance to take part in a drawing and painting class which was really fun. In the evening after cocktails and dinner we had entertainment by either a fantastic piano player or local artists. Since we had left from New Orleans we listened to Preservation Hall musicians and a local band. Our “piano man” always was willing to take our requests and it made for a lovely evening.

The ship itself is easy to navigate and staterooms almost all have balconies. Since room service is available it’s nice to have breakfast out on the balcony. You can not be hungry on this ship as in addition to 3 meals and cocktail hour they bring out cookies twice a day and lounges have lots of types of snacks and drinks!! Whenever you ask for anything the staff is always willing to help you.

Kudos to all staff on ACL America!!
