Sail Date: May 2018

In May 2018 we were able to travel with the wonderful "Running on Waves" and are still completely thrilled. As experienced cruisers, we were very excited about this ship, which was still relatively unknown at this time. Already during embarkation it became clear what this ship is all about: the crew. Right from the start we were given a very warm welcome. We especially liked the fact that Robert and Claudia speak German and made this trip perfect for us. The rest of the crew was also extremely helpful. Already on the 2nd day on board they knew exactly what our preferences were and we were greeted personally by name.

The kitchen is also very praiseworthy, it was very diversified, fresh and, above all, regionally cooked. Since we were in the Greek island region, there were surprises of typical Greek cuisine every day.

Our culinary highlight was the lamb Greek style from the sealed casserole. Delicious.

Cabin Review

The standard cabins are sufficient, for a sailor even quite spacious with a decent bathroom, but we were also allowed to take a look into the cabins and suites on the upper deck and found, that the surcharge is definitely worth it.
